Specialist Notes:


The No FEAR Act 2026-2027 training is required for Federal Employees only and must be completed every 2 years. If not already assigned, they can self-register for this training.


The process for assisting users varies by DOC Bureau and Employee Type.


Before assisting the user, confirm their Employee Type, then follow the appropriate action below.

  • Check the user's transcript. 


  • If the training is not assigned, instruct the user to search for "No FEAR Act 2026-2027" in the Search Bar and self-register for the training.
Contractors
  • Inform the user that this training applies to Federal Employees only and that they may disregard any notifications they received. 


  • If the user states they are required to complete the training, escalate to the Administrators for confirmation.


LES Employee (DOC ITA)

They will be able to provide further guidance regarding completion requirements for the No FEAR Act training.

All Users (DOC NIST)

If the user does not have access to the “No FEAR Act 2026-2027” training, escalate to the Administrators. The NIST Administrators will verify the user's employment status and confirm if the training is required for them.
